Here we list some examples of day trips you can take. Some are a bit longer than others, but if you are prepared to leave early in the morning and come back late in the evening, all of these are possible without feeling rushed.

1. Ronda

Ronda is a stunning city rich in Andalusian history and architecture, just an hour’s drive from Marbella. The Puente Nuevo bridge provides amazing views of the gorge, and Ronda has Spain’s oldest bullring and several lovely churches and palaces. The drive there is also scenic, passing through the Andalusian countryside.

2. Granada and the Alhambra

6. Sierra Nevada National Park

If you are here between December and April, it’s often possible to go skiing. Then you can, for example, take a swim in the sea in the morning and then come here. A few hours later, you’ll be on the ski slopes ready to ski.

7. Nerja

These destinations offer a variety of cultural, historical, and natural attractions, making day trips from Marbella an opportunity to create lasting memories.

You can also go to Bolonia, which is nearby, and run around in the sand dunes along the beach.
