Flamenco dancer Joaquín Cortés is coming to Marbella to perform his latest work – Calé!
Joaquín Cortés is one of the most charismatic and international flamenco dancers around. After a long and successful career as a dancer and choreographer, Joaquín Cortés has opted for experimentation and has composed a unique performance fraught with passion and craft.

Joaquín Cortés:
Joaquín Cortés was born in Cordoba in 1969. After moving to Madrid, at the age of twelve, he began his studies in dance. At 15 he entered the National Ballet of Spain and soon rose to the rank of soloist. After leaving the National Ballet and collaborating with leading figures in the world of dance, he founded his own company in 1992.

Throughout his career he has participated in major events including the handover ceremony of the Academy Awards (1999), Festival de Viña del Mar (2001) and The Discovery of the 7 Modern Wonders of the World in Lisbon (2007). He has also collaborated with renowned artists such as José Carreras, Alicia Keys and Jennifer López. With his stunning performances, Joaquín Cortés has captivated audiences worldwide.

Calé by Joaquín Cortés is taking place on Saturday, July the 16th, in Marbella at the Playa del Pinillo near the Marbella Arch.
