Andalucia Lab, Technology serving the tourist industry

You might have seen the modern building next to the N340 carretera just passed the El Rosario exit when going direction Fuengirola and asked yourself; what purpose does that building have? I have at least and today I read in the online newspaper La Opinion de Malagá an article that made it clear to me.

It is a innovation center for the tourism sector, meaning that they work on projects that involve technology and tourism. They have a Demo Lab, Consulting Lab, Testing Lab and a Research lab. Apparantly they have already finished 7 projects and one of them is supposed to be ´Roomore´a online touristic reputation tester for hotels. It will be launched in 2012.´
